Tuesday

Author: David Wiesner

Synopsis: This is a great wordless book with phenomenal illustrations that follow an armada of frogs that mysteriously start to float on lily pads.

Connections to Science:
I) This could be used to make distinctions between science and science fiction.

II) The students could make predictions about what is causing the lily pads or frogs to float. On the last page the frogs are no longer flying but we see pigs start to fly. Does their explanations still work for the pigs?
